RDF Television West is in production of a new series about pest control for the BBC and we need your help. The series consists of 3x1 hour episodes and is due to air at the end of May.
We start shooting at the end of January and will continue for 3 months. The show is presented by Anthea Turner and she’ll be working with our own pest controller to rid the unfortunate families of their pest infestations.
So where do you come in? We’re looking for families with pest infestations and we’re offering a finders fee of £250 to anybody who can put us in touch with people with an infestation that we end up using in the programme. As well as the finders fee there will be the potential for your company to get some free publicity on national television.
The idea is that if you can help us find the infestations, your company could then be called in as back up/experts by our pest controller to help him solve the problem. Ideally we’re looking for problems in domestic properties but we’ll consider commercial ones if the infestation is large, and obviously the company are agreeable.
Obviously this is a sensitive issue for many people, and not everyone’s cup of tea. However we have already come across a number of families who are at their wits end and are more than keen to appear on the show and for us to rid them of their pests. If you know of any infestations that we might be interested in please get in touch.
Permission from those that have the infestation would obviously be needed before any details can be passed on, so we’d suggest checking that they may be interested first and then getting in touch with me. You can get in touch by calling Steve on 0117 970 7650, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org . We need to find these people as soon as possible so if you know of anything, please do give me a call.
